Monfils beats Wawrinka to lift ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament title

Patna : World No 33 in ATP rankings Gael Monfils, 32, France, beat winner of three Grand Slam titles and World No 68 Stan Wawrinka, 33, Switzerland, in three-sets in the final on February 17, 2019, night, to lift the singles title at ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, an ATP 500 points event, at Rotterdan, Netherlands. Wawrinka had upset World No 7 and top seed Kei Nishikori, 29, Japan, in the semi-finals.
