Patna : World No 1 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Kento Momota, 24, Japan, World No 2 Shi Yuqi, 22, China, World No 3 Chou Tien Chen, 28, Taiwan, and World No 9 Kidambi Srikanth, 25, India, entered the quarter-finals of BWF Fuzhou China Open 2018 on November 8, 2018.
Top seed and reigning World Champion Kento Momota beat World No 30 Hans-Kristian Solberg Vittinghus, 32, Denmark, 21-13, 21-15 in 37 minutes in the second round to enter the quarter-finals at Fuzhou, China, on November 8.
