Muzaffarpur : State Vigilance Investigation Bureau sleuths from Patna led by DSP Subhash Sah on May 17, 2017, arrested red handed Marketing Officer (MO) of Gaighat block in Muzaffarpur district Narayan Das while accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe from a trader Arun Rai.
The eight-member Vigilance Bureau team arrested MO Das from a market located near the block office. Arun Rai had demanded Rs 25,000 from him for allotment of quota and Rs 10,000 was the first instalment of payment. MO Das was taken to Patna by the Vigilance team.
