Ara : Hundreds of students of Mahanth Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalay (MMMM), Ara,  went on rampage and staged demonstration in front of the office of the Principal on July 21, 2018, to protest alleged irregularities in the filling up of examination form for BA part I.  Principal, MMMM, Abha Singh, informed the Bhojpur SP about it and police personnel from  Woman police station and Nawada police station rushed to the spot and pacified the students.

As the students reached the MMMM along with their guardians to fill up their BA part I examination forms on July 21, the employees of the college behaved rudely with them and their guardians and delayed issuing examination forms. At this students lost temper and went on rampage. Sensing their mood, the male employees of the college asked them to get out but when they did not, the male employees allegedly caught the girl students by arms and pushed them out of the college campus.

Pramila Singh, guardian of one of the students, alleged that the college administration had not made suitable arrangement for filling up of the examination forms. She claimed that the male employees of the college also misbehaved with the girls.

When contacted,  Principal, MMMM, Abha Singh showed her ignorance about any agitation by the students and refused to say anything more on the matter.
