Ara: Mahanth Mahadevanand Mahila Mahavidyalay (MMMM), Ara, has succeeded in getting NAAC accreditation with B Grade despite all shortcomings.

A three-member NAAC team led by Prof Giridhar Mishra inspected MMMM from August 28 to August 30 and supervised minute details of the college. The NAAC team inspected the library, laboratory, office, canteen, health care centre, common- room, language lab, computer lab, NSS, remedial coaching, sports and cultural activities of the college. The NAAC team also interacted with the present and former students of the college and their guardians and tried to seek their views about the college. The NAAC team members sid that the college is trying to do better with its limited sources.

The MMMM has two buildings and one of them has been constructed on a plot of Ramana Maidan and its lease has  reportedly lapsed. The college also does not have its own playground and is struggling with faculty crunch.
