Patna : World No 66 in ATP rankings Jaume Munar, 21, Spain, and World No 135 Casper Ruud, 20, Norway, entered the 2nd round of Rio Open, an ATP World Tour 500 points tennis tournament, at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on February 19, 2019.

Munar beat World No 55 Leonardo Mayer, 31, Argentina, 7-6, 6-4 in the first round. Munar won 3 games in a row in the match. He also served 4 Aces in the match to 3 by Mayer.
