Missing youth murdered at Bhojpur village

Ara  : Ankit alias Neeraj, 20, son of Raj Kishore Yadav, who was missing since April 28, 2017, has been killed by some unidentified criminals by slitting his throat with a sharpedged weapon at village Akhtiyarpur-Badakagaon under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district.

The criminals put the body in a gunny bag and threw into a river. Police recovered the body floating on water on May 3, 2017, and brought it to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

The SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that Ankit alias Neeraj, a matriculation student, was missing from his home at village Akhtiyarpur-Badakagaon since April 28, 2017, evening. The family members searched for him but in vain. The SHO said that the youth allegedly had some illicit relation with a woman living nearby. An FIR has been lodged with Udwantnagar police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
