Missing Ranchi Girl Recovered From Bhojpur Village

Ara : Jharkhand police, with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart, recovered a teenage girl from a house at village Bhakhura under Ara Muffasil police station on December 26, 2019, evening, and took her to Ranchi with them on December 27.

The girl is an Intermediate student and a resident under Khelgaon police station, Ranchi, in Jharkhand while her lover Vishal is a resident of Bhakhura under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district.

SHO, Ara Muffasil police station, Jyoti Kumari, said that about six months ago, Vishal received a missed call on his mobile phone and when he called back, he had a talk with a girl of Ranchi. Their chat continued and later they started video chatting. Meanwhile, they fell in love and both wished to meet. As Vishal was physically challenged, the girl came to Patna on December 9, 2019, and with the help of Vishal’s friend, she reached Bhakhura and since then was living with Vishal at his house.

When the girl did not return, her parents lodged an FIR with Khelgaon police station, Ranchi. After institution of FIR, police swung into action. In the meantime, Jharkhand police got information that the girl was living at village Bhakhura. Immediately, a team of Jharkhand police reached Ara and with the help of their Bhojpur counterpart conducted raids at Bhakhura village and recovered the girl and arrested Vishal but police later released Vishal giving him stern warning in view of his physical condition.
