Ara : A teenage school girl, who had been missing since May 29, 2017, returned home after three days and narrated her plight to Narayanpur police in Bhojpur district on June 2, 2017. Police produced her before the Judicial Magistrate at Ara Civil Court to get her statement recorded under section 164 of CrPC. Police also brought her over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination on June 3.
The girl, a native of village Chasi under Narayanpur police station, had left for her school at the village to take her transfer certificate (TC) on May 29 but she did not return. Her father had lodged an FIR with Narayanpur police station fearing that she might have been kidnapped.
The girl told police that she used to go to a teacher Jitendra Sah of the village for tuition where she came in contact with a boy Lavkush Kumar and they became friend. Both of them often talked on mobile. On May 29, when she was going to her school for TC, her teacher persuaded her to accompany him to Ara where Lavkush Kumar was already present. Lavkush took her to Patna and kept her there for two days in a room and also outraged her modesty. After two days, he left her at Patna railway station and she returned home on June 2, 2017.
SHO, Narayanpur police station, Suryavansh Singh said that after the statement of the girl, the teacher Jitendra Sah and Lavkush Kumar have been made accused in the FIR and further action would be taken after the medical report is received.
