Ara: Bhojpur police recovered a teenage girl from Ara and also arrested her boyfriend Munnu Paswan of Belauna village under Bihia police station on Friday evening. Later, the police brought her to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her before the court to record her statement under section 164 of CrPC. The police also forwarded Munna Paswan to Ara jail. SDPO Jagdishpur Dwarika Pal said a teenage girl disappeared from Dubauli village under Bihia police stationon May 19 morning. When she did not return home till evening, her brother Binay Dubey lodged an named FIR against three persons with Bihia police station.
Undertrial prisoner dies: An undertrial prisoner of Ara jail Ashok Paswan died on Saturday due to illness. He was a resident of Pirauta village under Ara Muffassil police station and was arrested in connection with murder of a person. He was in Ara jail for the last three years.
