Ara : Three bike borne miscreants shot dead their friend near Babua Brahmsthan on Mishrauli road under Bihia police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on April 24, 2021, late evening.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The deceased was identified as Golu Singh, son of Nand Kumar Singh of Amrai Nawada village. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Bihia police station in this connection. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the accused.
SHO, Bihia PS, Shashi Bhushan Prasad, said that three motorcycle borne miscreants went to Babua Brahmsthan to meet their friend Golu Singh where they had tiff with him over some issues. Meanwhile, one of the miscreants shot at and injured Golu Singh and escaped. The injured was rushed to Ara Sada Hospital where the doctors referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) in view of his critical condition but he succumbed to his injuries on way to PMCH. The SHO further said that 10 cases of motorcycle loot were pending against Golu Singh and he had been jailed too in the past.
