Buxar : Some anti-social elements damaged statue of Bhim Rao Ambedkar at village Ahirauli under Industrial police station (PS) in Buxar district on January 2, 2021, morning.
Irate villagers blocked the Ahirauli main road in protest against the incident raising slogans against Buxar district administration. They were demanding immediate arrest of the anti-social elements and stern action against them. The blockade was lifted after positive response from police officials. Buxar District Administration assured them to install a new statue of Bhim Rao Ambedkar. They also assured to remove encroachment from the area.
