Ara : Some anti-social elements beat up employees of a construction company, PNC Infratech, engaged in construction of road at village Belauti under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district for extortion on March 30, 2018, and escaped with the keys of the vehicles parked there. The company lodged an FIR with Shahpur police station against 12 persons including one Deepak Tiwari in this connection.
Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar said that about a dozen armed miscreants attacked the employees of PNC Infratech company engaged in road construction at village Belauti under Shahpur police station and demanded rangadari and also beat the employees. The miscreants also threatened the employees with dire consequences if the company did not yield to their demands and escaped with the keys of vehicles, the SP said. The SP said that he has asked ASP Dayashankar Singh to inquire into the incident arrest the miscreants at the earliest.
