Minor girl raped at Bhojpur village

Ara : Modesty of a minor girl was outraged at vilage Kathrai under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district on March 20, 2018, morning. Police arrested the accused with the help of villagers and brought the girl over to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination. Police also produced herbefore the court to get her statement recorded under section 164 CrPC. Later, police forwarded the arresred accused to Ara jail.

SHO, Charpokhari police station, Vishwajeet, said that the accused lured the girl to a secluded place at the village and outraged her modesty. Hearing her cry, the villagers rushed to the spot and chased and caught the rapist.
