Bhabhua : Police recovered body of a minor girl from the campus of a residential school at village Devari under Adhaura police station(PS) in Kaimur District in South Bihar and brought it over to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
The deceased was identified as Saraswati Kumari, 10, daughter of Jitendra Sah of village Devari village. An FIR has been lodged with Adhaura PS in this connection and police are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Police took three persons under custody for interrogation.
SHO, AdhauraPS, said that Saraswati Kumari had gone to an under-construction building of a residential school beside her home to get the battery of an emergency light charged but she did not return home. When the family members searched her, they found body of the girl form the campus of the school. The SHO further said that the miscreants beat her with hot iron rod and killed her brutally. Jitendra Sah said that labourers from Bengal are working at the construction site.
