Saharsa : A minor dalit was allegedly raped by a neighbour Bharat Sada at gun point late March 30, 2017, at village Bihna in Jhara panchayat under Mahishi police station in Saharsa district when her parents and other family members had gone for dinner at the village.
The survivor told police that she was alone at her house when her neighbours Bharat Sada, Aspesh Sada, Shankar Sada, Pappu Sada, Jaijairam Chaudhary and Ravin Mahto reached her house and started abusing her and her family members and Bharat Sada raped her at gun point. An FIR has been lodged by Mahishi police station on the statement of the survivor. Police presented the 15 year old girl before Saharsa Sadar Hospital where her medical examination was done. Police are searching for the accused.
