Middleage person shot dead in Bhojpur

Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a middleage person Binod Singh, son of Ram Kripal Singh, at village Itaur under Charpokhari police station in Bhojpur district on July 7, 2018,  morning.

Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident. The incident hastriggered panic among the people of the area. An FIR has been lodged with Charpokhari police station against three persons including Sachchidanand Singh but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.

SHO, Charpokhari police station, said that Binod Singh was sitting at the gate of his house on July morning when some armed miscreants arrived and shot him dead and escaped.
