Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a middleage farmer at Moap Kala village under Imadpur police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on July 18, 2021, morning, when he was going to the field at the village to attend call of nature, and escaped.
The injured identified as Jagdeo Singh 55, son of late Kulwant Singh of Moap Kala village, was admitted to a private nursing home at Ara. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident. A named FIR was lodged with Imadpur PS against Vishwanath Singh of the village in this connection. Police are investigating the matter.
The SHO Imadpur PS, quoting the FIR, said that Jagdeo Singh had purchased five bigha of land one year ago. After an year, another person of the village got the same plot registered in his name. Jaddeo had lodged an FIR with police in this regard earlier and also complained to the senior police officers. When Jagdeo Singh was going to the field in on July 18, 2021, morning, to attend call of nature, t five miscreants shot at and injured him and escaped.
