Aurangabad: The Aurangabad district administration has decided to name Middle School Tengra under Barun block in  the district after martyr CRPF jawan Santosh Kumar Sa0. Santosh was killed by suspected Laskar-e Taiba members at Pampore in Jammu and Kashmir one month back.

A decision to this effect has been taken by District Magistrate (DM) Kawal Tanuj and proposal in this regard has been sent to the directorate concerned of state education department. The DM said that Santosh sacrificed his life while fighting with terrorists. ” We are proud of his martyrdom,” DM Kawal Tanuj said adding it  it is time to pay respect to ‘saheed jawan’ to so that next generation could get inspiration from him.

It my be mentioned here that ever since the killing of Santosh, the villagers were demanding installation of his statute and proper arrangement for education of his children. CRPF DIG Neeraj Kumar, Commandant Karma Bhutia and Aurangabad DM had assured to provide all possible assistance to the family of slain jawan.

A month back CRPF DG Durga Prasad during his short trip to Deo in the district had exhorted the officials to develop direct communication with the family members of martyrs so that they did not feel alone as martyrs are also a part of security forces. DG Prasad had said that the CRPF will always stand by the family of those brave jawan who scarified their lives while serving the country.
