Patna : Mumbai Indians (MI), who are sitting at the top of the points table, were restricted to 149/8 in 20 overs by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 56th match of IPL 2020 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah, UAE, on November 3, 2020, night, with all-rounder Keiron Pollard scoring 41 in 25 balls hitting 2 fours and 4 sixes. Pollard hit fast medium bowler T Natarajan for three consecutive sixes in 19th over. SRH won the toss and opted to bowl.

Batting first, MI lost their first wicket that of opener Rohit Sharma ( captain) for 4 with only 12 runs on board. Rohit fell to Sandeep Sharma. His opening partner Quinton de Kock also fell to Sandeep Sharma for 25 in 13 balls hitting 2 fours and 2 sixes making it 39/2. Suryakumar Yadav fell to spinner Shahbaz Nadeem for 36 in 29 balls with 5 fours and it was 81/3.

All-rounder Krunal Pandya also fell to Nadeem for a duck in the same over and it was 81/4. Shahbaz Nadeem took 2 wickets in 12th over, his 3rd over. Saurabh Tiwary fell to spinner Rashid Khan for 1 in the 13th over and it was 82/5. Ishan Kishan fell to Sandeep Sharma for 33 in 30 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes and it was 115/6. Fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile fell to fast medium bowler Jason Holder for 1 and it was 116/7. Pollard also fell to Holder and it was 145/8.

For SRH, Sandeep Sharma took 3/34 in 4 overs while Jason Holder took 2/25 in 4 overs.
