Motihari : Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Motihari, in East Champaran District in North Bihar, will soon start Scholarship and Medal in the name late Prof Janardan Prasad, a famous former teacher of Economics of Munsi Singh College, Motihari, for the meritorious students of Economics and Sanskrit of Post-Ggraduate classes.
Raj Kishor Prasad, Advocate, has handed over a Cheque of Rs 10 lakh as an Endowment Fund to the Vice -Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari, Professor Sanjiv Kumar Sharma, to start a Scholarship and Medal after his father late Prof Janardan Prasad, a former teacher of Economics of Munsi Singh College, Motihari. Prof Janardan Prasad was a widely known social reformer and did a lot for the poor students of Champaran region.
Prof Sanjiv Kumar Sharma, Vice Chancellor, MGCU, thanked Raj Kishor Prasad for his noble gesture and said that the university will soon start Scholarship and Medal for the meritorious students of Economics and Sanskrit of Post-Ggraduate classes.
