Jannik Sinner, 19, Italy, the 21st seed, 32nd seed Alexander Bublik, 23, Kazakhstan, and 26th seed Hubert Hurkacz, 24, Poland, have also reached QFs of the tournament.
World No 2 Daniil Medvedev beat World No 58 Frances Tiafoe, 23, USA, in straight sets 6-4, 6-3 in 1hr 32 minutes in Round of 16 hammering 11 Aces during the match. The Russian also won 3 break points in the match to 1 by the American. Medvedev won 3 games in a row to 2 by Tiafoe. The Russian won 68 points during the match to 48 by Tiafoe.
