World No 4 Tsitsipas defeated World No 51 Laslo Djere, 26, Serbia, in a close two-set contest lasting 2hr 14 minutes in 1st round while World No 5 Nadal comfortable beat World No 100 Denis Kudla, 29, USA.
World No 4 Tsitsipas beat World No 51 Laslo Djere 7-6, 7-6 in first round in a close contest with both the players winning 2 break points each and 3 games in a row each during the match.
