Patna : Novak Djokovic, 33, Serbia, with 12,030 rankings points, and Rafael Nadal, 34, Spain, with 9,850 points, remain World No 1 and World No 2 respectively in the ATP Rankings released on February 22, 2021, after the Australian Open (AO) 2021. Daniil Medvedev, 25, Russia, has jumped 1 place to be ranked World No 3 with 9,735 points after reaching the AO finals. Dominic Thiem, 27, Austria, has dropped 1 place and is ranked World No 4 with 9,125 points. Thiem, the 2020 AO finalist, lost in the 4th round of AO 2021. Djokovic and Nadal have not added new points to their total as they simply defended their points won in AO 2020.

Roger Federer, 39, Switzerland, with 6,630 points remains World No 5 while Stefanos Tsitsipas, 22, Greece, with 6,595 points is World No 6. Tsitsipas had reached SFs of AO 2021. Alexander Zverev, 23, Germany, with 5,615 points remains World No 7. Zverev had reached QFs of AO 2021. Andrey Rublev, 23, Russia, is World No 8 with 4,609 points while Diego Schwartzman, 28, Argentina, is World No 9 with 3,480 points.  Matteo Berrettini, 24, Italy, stays World No 10 with 3,480 points. Denis Shapovalov, 21, Canada, is World No 11 with 2,910 points.

Grigor Dimitrov, 29, Bulgaria, has jumped 4 places to be ranked World No 17 with 2,575 points. Dimitrov had reached QFs of AO 2021.  Casper Ruud, 22, Norway, has jumped 4 places to be ranked World No 24 with 1,909 points.  Ruud had reached 4th round of AO 2021.

Aslan Karatsev, 27, Russia, who entered the AO 2021 as a qualifier, has jumped 72 places after reaching the SFs of the event. He lost to World No 1 Novak Djokovic, Serbia, in the SFs of AO 2021.  Karatsev is now ranked World No 42 with 1,382 points. Pablo Andujar, 35, Spain, has jumped 4 places to be ranked World No 55 with 1,079 points. Feliciano Lopez, 39, Spain, has jumped 8 places and is ranked World No 57 with 1,078 points. Lopez had lost in 3rd round of AO 2021. Soonwoo Kwon, 23, South Korea, has jumped 16 places to be ranked World No 81 with 877 points.

Prajnesh Gunneswaran, 31, India, has dropped 7 places to be ranked World No 138 with 516 points. He had lost in AO qualifers. Sumit Nagal, 23, India, has dropped 4 places and is ranked World No 148 with 480 points. Nagal had lost in the 1st round of AO. Ramkumar Ramnathan, 26, India, has dropped 10 places to be ranked World No 200 with 352 points.
