Muzaffarpur : Medicine shops at Muzaffarpur remained closed on May 30, 2017, at the call of Muzaffarpur district unit of Chemists and Druggists Association to press their demand for ban online sale of medicine in the country.
The closure of medicine shops caused problems to patients even as the Chemists and Druggists Association had made arrangement for supply of emergency drugs to them. The association has claimed that online supply of medicine was encouraging addiction among youth. The medicine dealers also took out a procession led President of District Chemists and Druggists Association Rakesh Kumar and Secretary Ranjan Sahu.
