Muzaffarpur : Medicare services are slowly returning to normal at Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, after vandalism and arson on the hospital campus on April 21, 2017. This followed fight between the Junior Doctors (JDs) and drivers of private ambulances parked on hospital campus. The emergency services are returning to track though the hospital campus looked deserted on April 23.

Superintendent, SKMCH, Dr G K Thakur, said that medicare services had returned to normal. He said that private ambulances will no longer be parked on the hospital campus, Dr Thakur said.

Meanwhile, SKMCH authorities have initiated measures to install gates at the two main entrance points of the hospital. No four-wheeler will be allowed to entre the hospital campus without entry pass. DSP Ashish Anand on April 23 said that police were deployed on the campus and the situation was well under control.
