Patna: One of the leading educational institutions of India,  Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurugram, held its 23rd Induction programme from June 15 to 19, 2017. The orientation programme was organized for students of Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM), Post Graduate Programme – Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM), and Post Graduate Programme – International Management (PGP-IM).

The five-day induction programme will kickstarted the exciting and inspiring academic journey for students. Dr C P Shrimali, Acting Director, MDI, Gurugram ,welcomed the students and emphasized on the culture of 44 year old prestigious institution. He stressed on 360 degree learning-by-doing approach, according to a press release issued on behalf of the MDI.

The inaugural address at the first session was delivered by Nishchae Suri, Partner & Head, KPMG Academy, who  emphasized on learning through three Es – Experience, Exposure and Environment. The second session started with address from Prashant Verma, Head HR, ICICI Bank. He said that one should have a multiple view on subject. Uncertainty is constant and one must have ability to handle it, he said. The keynote address was delivered by Sreedhar Prasad, Partner – Management Consulting, KPMG.

On day one, the students were familiarised with the faculty members. They also attended an  information session regarding the various facilities available to the students as well as student events and clubs.
