Mastermind of fake currency racket Pintu Singh surrenders before court

Ara : Under mounting police pressure, the mastermind of fake currency gang Pintu Singh surrendered before the court on February 19, 2019. He is a resident of village Raghunipur under Udwantnagar police station. He along with an inmate of Ara jail Rahul Yadav of village Jamuaw under Sandesh police station was involved in printing fake currency notes.

It may be mentioned here that Bhojpur police had conducted raids at the house of Rahul Yadav of village Jamuaw under Sandesh police station in January this year and seized printing machine used for printing fake notes, ink, papers and several fake notes from there. Police had also arrested five persons including Pintu Singh’s father Nagendra Singh, wife, mother, and sister-in-law (younger brother’s wife).

The names of Pintu Singh and others figured during interrogation and police came to know that Pintu Singh and Rahul Yadav were the mastermind of the racket and were conducting raids to arrest Pintu Singh. Jitendra Kumar and Dadan Kumar are still absconding.
