Patna : As opposition BJP members continued their agitation to seek sacking of state Excise and Prohibition minister Abdul Jalil Mastan for his anti-Prime Minister utterances, sittings of both Bihar legislative council and Bihar assembly were adjourned till March 6, 2017, morning.  BJP legislators shouted slogans against CM Nitish Kumar and sought his presence in the House and announce dismissal of Mastan.

Leader of opposition in assembly Prem Kumar said the House will not be allowed to have normal business till the minister was sacked. He claimed RJD president Lalu Prasad has demanded minister’s resignation.” the CM should
honour Laluji’s demand,” he said.  In Bihar legislative council too, BJP members did not allow transaction of normal business on the same issue. The Council Chairman adjourned the House till March 6 morning.
The RJD members countered the demand of BJP members by demanding dismissal of union minister of state Giriraj Singh for his frequent attacks on Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar. Prem Kumar announced the NDA workers would join the statewide agitation on March 7 at all district headquarters to press their demand for Mastan’s dismissal.
The BJP workers will join the dharna at GAC fields, Patna,  on March 4.
