Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot at and injured a Mason Shiv Ji Yadav, son of Subhash Yadav, near Dharahara locality under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur district on August 22, 2019, morning.
The family members rushed Shiv Ji Yadav to Ara Sadar Hospital where the doctor referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital after first aid. But, the family members preferred to take the injured to a private clinic at Babu Bazaar area under Ara Town police station where the doctor operated upon him and took out the bullet from his body. An FIR has been lodged with Ara Town police station in connection with the incident . The police are conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
SHO, Ara Town police station, Janmjay Rai said that Shiv Ji Yadav, a resident of Dharahara locality, was going to his work place on August 22 morning. As he came out of his house, some unidentified armed miscreants shot at him injuring him and escaped from the place on motorcycles.
Family members said that the dispute arose after some jokes on a physically challenged child. The miscreants fired at least 15 rounds in the air and later shot at and injured the Mason.
