Buxar : A married woman was gangraped at a village under Buxar Muffasil police station (PS) on July 17, 2021, when she was sleeping in her room. A named FIR was lodged with Buxar Women’s police station on the statement of the woman and police arrested two named accused and sent them to jail.
Police brought the woman over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for medical examination and will produce her before a Buxar Court to get her statement recorded under section 164 of CrPC. The arrested accused were identified as Golu Chauhan and Lal Jee Chauhan of the village.
SHO, Women’s police station, said that a woman was sleeping along with her two children in her room at a village under Buxar Muffasil police station when four youth of the village entered the house and gangraped her. When she raised an alarm, they tried to escape but her family members caught two of them. Meanwhile, the family members of the accused reached there with sticks in hand and got them freed.
