Buxar : A married woman Sangeeta, 26, committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her house at village Kanjia village under Sikraul police station in Buxar district on May 7, 2018, night. The family members came to know about her suicide on May 8 morning and informed police. Police brought the body ovr to the Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
SHO, Sukraul police station, Abhay Kumar said that Sangeeta, daughter of Damroo Chaudhary of village Alampur under Itadhi police station, was married to Umesh Chaudhary of Kanjia village under Sikraul police station in 2017.
Since Umesh Chaudhary works in New Delhi, she insisted on living with him but he was reluctant to keep her with him. She had a tiff with her husband on cellphone on May 7 night and after that she committed suicide. An FIR has been lodged with Sikraul police station. The SHO said that the police were investigating the matter.
