Ara : A married woman was strangulated to death in an area under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district on January 31, 2020.
Police recovered the body from near a brick kiln at Rudranagar under Shahpur police station on February 1, 2020, and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The identity of the deceased is still to be established.
SHO, Shahpur police station, said that some miscreants strangulated a married woman to death and threw the body near a brick kiln at Rudranagar under Sahahpur police station. On February 1 morning, some villagers saw the body and informed police. He said that police immediately swung into action and rushed to the spot and recovered the body. The SHO said that police are investigating into the incident.
