Ara : Munna Singh alias Deep Narayan Singh of village Panpura under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur District, who was shot at and seriously injured near Agriculture Farm on Sandesh-Pawana main road by some miscreants on October 12, 2020, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Patna on October 15, 2020.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Irate villagers blocked Sakaddi-Nasariganj main road near Sandesh Chowk with the body paralysing movement of vehicles. They were demanding capital punishment to the assailants, a government job and compensation to next of kin of the deceased. The blockade was lifted after positive response from the Block Development Officer, Sandesh, Bindu Kumar.
Some miscreants had shot at and injured Munna Singh alias Deep Narayan Singh of Panpura village under Sandesh police station near Agriculture Farm on Sandesh-Pawana main road on October 12, 2020, evening when he was returning home with his nephew and snatched their motorcycle. Police had already arrested the accused and sent them to jail.
