Man strangulates wife to death at Buxar village

Buxar : Mithilesh Sah, father of three children, allegedly strangulated to death his wife on June 21, 2018, night, when she was  sleeping at village Sangrao under Rajpur police station in Buxar district and escaped.

On June 22, 2018, morning, when the children woke up, they found their mother dead. They told the villagers about the death of their mother. The villagers informed the police. Later, police reached the village and brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the murder is still to be ascertained.

SHO, Rajpur police station, said that Mithilesh Sah of village Sangrao had three children and on June 21 night all of them were sleeping in a room of the house. When they were sleeping, Mithlesh Sah strangulated his wife to death and escaped. An FIR has been lodged with Rajpur police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
