Bhabhua : A man from Jharkhand stabbed to death his wife at village Matiyav under Yadunathpur police outpost in Kaimur district in Bihar on August 6, 2020, evening.
Police recovered the body and arrested the accused. Later, police brought the body over to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. A named FIR was lodged with Yadunathpur police outpost on the statement of father of the deceased and police sent the accused to jail after interrogation. The deceased was identified as Ribha Devi, 27,wife of Raju Singh alias Futun Singh.
SHO, Yadunathpur police outpost, Shyam Nandan Kumar, said that Raju Singh alias Futun Singh of Ratangadh village under Kandi police station in Garhava district in Jharkhand had gone to his father-in-law Tileshwar Singh’ place at Matiyav village under Yadunathpur police outpost in Kaimur district on August 5, 2020. He spent the day peacefully there. On August 6, 2020, after having tea, he dragged his wife Ribha Devi to a room where he stabbed into her eyes. Hearing her cry, the family members broke into the room and informed police. The police rushed Ribha Devi to the hospital but she succumbed to her injuries on way to the hospital.
