Man shot dead, brother injured at Shahpur in Bhojpur

Ara : An armed miscreant shot dead a man and injured his brother on December 12, 2019, in Ward No 10 under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district.

Policed brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured Sajan Yadav there but the doctor referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital in view of his precarious condition. The deceased was identified as Sunil Yadav, 45, son of Mahendra Yadav of the area. A named FIR has been lodged with Shahpur police station in this connection but police remain clueless though they are investigating into the incident.

SHO, Shahpur police station, said that Sunil Yadav had some tiff with the named accused in Ward No 10 under the police station area on December 11, 2019, late evening, over parking of motorcycle. On December 12, 2019, morning the accused attacked the house of Sunil Yadav and shot him dead and also shot at and injured his brother.
