Man shot dead at his house by bike borne miscreants at Bhojpur village

Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a man at village Ramdatahi  under Karnamepur Police Outpost under Shahpur block in Bhojpur district around January 19, 2020, midnight, when he was sleeping at his house.

The deceased was identified as Angad Rai, 30, son of Shiv Ji Rai. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on January 20 morning. Old enmity is said to be the cause behind the murder. Police are investigating into the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.

SHO, Karnamepur Police Outpost, said that some armed miscreants riding two motorcycles came to village Ramdatahi under around midnight and pumped bulliets into the body of Angad Rai when he was sleeping and escaped. Police, on getting information, rushed to the spot and recovered the body. The SHO said that the miscreants were known to the deceased and some old enmity seemed to be the reason behind the incident.
