Buxar : Some unidentified miscreants shot dead a man when he was sleeping at his friend’s house on October 1, 2020, afternoon, t village Chunni under Buxar Muffasil police station in Buxar District in South Bihar.
On getting information, a Buxar Muffasil police station team rushed to the spot and brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged by Buxar Muffasil police station in this connection and police are conducting raids at different places to arrest the miscreants. The deceased was identified as Shailendra Singh, 22, son of Dev Narayan Singh of Chunni village.The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
SHO, Buxar Muffasil police station, said that Shailendra Singh had gone to meet his friend Vikas Kumar at village Chunni on October 1, 2020, afternoon, where he slept. Meanwhile, some unidentified armed miscreants shot him dead from point blank range when he was sleeping.
