Buxar : Some unidentified armed miscreants waylaid and shot dead Ram Ji Chand, 31, at village Ekauni under Dumraon police station in Buxar district on August 31, 2018, late evening. Land dispute is said to be cause behind the incident.
SHO, Dumraon police station, said that Ram Ji Chand, son of Akhilachand of village Ekauni under Dumraon police station was going to the village market on August 31 late evening when some unidentified armed miscreants waylaid and shot at him injuring him seriously. He was admitted to Buxar Sadar Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.Tension prevails in and around the village following the incident.
