Ara : Some unidentified motorcycle borne criminals shot dead a man in Gausganj locality under Ara Town police station in Bhojpur District around 7.30 pm on June 8, 2020.
Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. SDPO, Ara, Ajay Kumar, along with police force rushed to the Sadar Hospital to inquire into the matter. The deceased was identified as Mithun Paswan, 36, son of Nand Kishore Paswan of Gusganj locality. Police seized four blank cartridges from the spot.
SHO, Ara Town police station, said that Mithun Paswan was going to his residence in Gausganj locality around 7.30 pm on June 8 when some unidentified bike borne criminals pumped five bullets into his body and escaped The locals rushed him to the Sadar Hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on way to the Hospital.
