Ara : Some unidentified armed miscreants shot dead a youth on October 4, 2019, and threw the body near the railway track and escaped.
Police recovered the body and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Government Railway Police (GRP), Ara, in this connection but police remain clueless. Love affair is said to the cause behind the incident. The deceased was identified as Sarwan Rai, 25, son of Jhengar Rai of village Dhundhua under Ara Muffassil police station.
SHO, GRP, Ara, said that Sarwan Rai lived at a rented house at Bihari Mill under Nawada police station, Ara, and worked at a shop near Ara railway station. He was going to Ara railway station on October 4, 2019, when some unidentified armed miscreants pumped bullets into his body killing him on spot.
The family members said at Ara Sadar Hospital that Sarwan Rai was married but his wife had died a few days ago. They also said that he had love affair with a married woman. Sarwan Rai hadrecently some tiff with the brother of the woman who threatened him with dire consequences and later allegedly killed him.
