Sitamarhi : A Sitamarhi court on December 7 sentenced an accused Kamod Rai of village Khairvi under Bathnaha police station to life imprisonment for killing fellow villager Munna Rai in 2010. The court of Sessions Judge I Kishore Kumar Sinha also slapped a fine of Rs 70,000 on the convict. Kamod Rai had shot dead Munna Rai on November 1, 2010, after calling him to his house.
