Sasaram : A young man from village Kargahar in Rohtas District in South Bihar has married a transgender. Golu Kumar of village Kargahar came in contact with a transgender Nandni of Panapur during a dance programme and fell in love with her and later married her. He lived at a rented house near Kargahar separately from his family.
When the matter came to the knowledge of Golu’s family members, they tried their best to separate them but failed. When Golu’s mother saw Nandni, she fell unconscious but Nandni, like a daughter-in-law (bahu), sprinkled water on her face to bring her back to sense. The villagers said that they came to know about the matter after Golu’s family members made much hue and cry about it and tried to find out solution of the problem. Police said that two adult persons could marry.
