Bhabhua :In a gruesome incident, one Lal Babu Gupta killed his wife and two children at village Sondihari Bhabhua police station (PS) in Kaimur District in South Bihar on August 24, 2021, late night. The neighbour saw the bodies on August 25, 2021, morning and informed police.
Police recovered the bodies and brought them over to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police also arrested Lal Babu Gupta. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. A named FIR has been lodged with Bhabhua police station in this connection and police are investigating the matter.
SHO, Bhabhua PS, said that Lal Babu Gupta is stated to be mentally unstable and he slit throats of his pregnant wife and two children: Shivam and Khushi. The SHO stated that when police reached the spot, Lal Babu Gupta tried to escape but police arrested him. The father of the deceased woman said that Lal Babu Gupta frequently thrashed his daughter and he had urged him several times not to do so. He demanded capital punishment for his son-in-law.
