Ara : A man thrashed his minor son to death in a drunken state at village Devradh under Tier police station (PS) in Bhojpur District in South Bihar on May 11, 2021, evening, and escaped.
The deceased was identified as Jitu Kumar, 7, son of Upendra Musahar of the village. A named FIR was lodged with Tier police station in this connection on the statement of the mother of the deceased Nitu Devi. Police are investigating the case.
The SHO Tier police station, quoting the FIR, said that Upendra Musahar, in drunken state, thrashed his minor son Jitu Kumar and killed him. When Jitu’s mother came to his rescue, he also thrashed and injured her.
