Bhabhua : In a sensational incident, a man shot dead his father and also shot at and injured his uncle at village Kaser under Bhagwanpur police station in Kaimur District in South Bihar on May 2, 2021. The deceased was identified as Komal Pandey, 60. Land dispute is said to be the cause behind the incident.
Police recovered the body and brought it over to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. A named FIR has been lodged with Bhagwanpur police station in this connection. Police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the named accused.
SHO, Bhagwanpur police station, said that Mala Pandey alias Arbind Pandey had dispute with his father Komal Pandey over partition of land. On May 1, 2021, both had quarrelled over the issue but the matter subsided later on. On May 2, 2021, Mala Pandey alias Arbind Pandey shot dead his father and when his uncle ( elder brother of the deceased) came to his rescue, he also shot at and injured him and escaped from the scene.
