Ara : A 23 year old man was killed on Sahar-Sakaddi-Nasariganj State Highway near Sahar Block headquarters on August 22, 2020, when a speeding vehicle collided head-on with his motorcycle. The deceased was identified as Ravi Raj, son of late Nagendra Rai of Bara village under Bihia police station in Bhojpur district. His mother is a school teacher.
Later, police brought the body over to the Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. SHO,Sahar police station, Manindra Kumar, said that Ravi Raj worked at Domino Pizza in New Delhi but lived at Sonbarsha under Charpokhari police station with his maternal uncle where her mother was a school teacher. He had come to Gulzarpur under Sahar block to his relative a few days back. on August 22, 2020, morning, he had gone to Sahar on his bike to draw money from an ATM. When he reached near Sahar block headquarters, a speeding vehicle collided head-on with his bike killing him on the spot and escaped.
