Man killed at Buxar, police arrest wife and 4 others

Buxar : Buxar police recovered body of a man from a place on the outskirts of Ahirauli Bridge under Industrial Police Station in Buxar district on November 26, 2019, morning, and brought it over to Buxar Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police recovered a knife from the spot. The deceased was identified as Shauqat Sah, son of Shamshad Sah of village Samhauta under Mohania police station in Kaimur district.

An FIR was lodged by Industrial Police station in this connection regard and police arrested Gudia Sah, wife of the deceased, Imran Khan, Parvez Khan, Babar Khan, and Tarvez Khan of Sarimpur village. Police sent them to jail after interrogation.

Buxar SP Upendra Nath Verma said that Gudia Sah, wife of Shauqat Sah, had relation with Imran Khan and Babar Khan of Sarimpur village and she, with their help,got her husband killed. Her lovers slit throat of Shauqat Sha with a knife and threw the body on the outskirt of Ahirauli Bridge under Industrial police station in Buxar district. He said that Shauq was missing from his house since November 24, 2019. Gudia informed her in-laws about disappearance of her husband and they reached Buxar on November 25, 2019, evening, and informed Industrial police station.Police immediately swung into action and recovered the body of Shauqat on November 26.

During investigation, police suspected Gudia’s involvement in the murder and arrested her and on her confession, they arrested her two lovers:  Imran Khan and Babar Khan, who admitted their hands in the murder of Shauqat Sah at the behest of Gudia Sah. Police also arrested Tavrez Khan and Parvez Khan in this regard too.

On the other hand, Hasama Bibi, mother of the deceased, said that she had requested SHO, Industrial police station, Dinesh Kumar Malakar, to recover her son otherwise he might be killed. The SHO had assured her that her son would be recovered soon. She said  that had the SHO taken action on time, her son would not have been killed. SHO, Industrial police station, Dinesh Kumar Malakar said that on getting information from Hasama Bibi, police had conducted raids at different places to locate Shauqat Sah.

The SHO said that Shauqat Sah was married to Gudia Sah of Budhadih village under Rajpur police station in Buxar district in 2015. But, ever since his marriage, Shauqat Sah seldom came to his village and so his wife Gudia Sah lived sometime at Mohania and sometime at her parents’ house. Later, Gudia came to Buxar along with her husband and lived at a rented house and Shauqat Sah worked as daily wage earner there.

Gudia Sah never allowed her husband to go to Samhauta village and so he could not attend the funeral of his grand-mother. Meanwhile, Shauqat came to know about illicit relation of his wife and he protested it. Gudia Sah allegedly dictated her two lovers to eliminate her husband. At her behest, Imran Khan and Babar Khan decoyed Shauqat Sah and took him to the outskirt of Ahirauli Bridge and killed him by slitting his throat.
