Ara : Juguni Sah alias Jitendra Sah, 45,  son of late Paras Sah and husband of Poonam Devi, Member, Ward No 5, who was injured in a violent clash between two groups at village Semaria under Barhara police station in Bhojpur district on April 19, 2019, succumbed to his injuries in the wee hour on April 21, 2019, at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) during treatment.

Four  persons including Juguni Sah were injured in the incident and admitted to Primary Health Centre, Mani Chhapra. But the doctor referred Juguni Sah to PMCH in view of his serious condition where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment in the wee hour on April 21.

The other persons getting injured in the incident were identified as Sanjay Sah, Manoj Sah, and Ramesh Sah. A named FIR has been lodged with Barhara police station against 25 persons on the statement of one of the  injured Manoj Sah. Police have arrested one of the named accused Manrakhan Bind in this connection.

SHO, Barhara police station, said that a marriage was being solemnised at the house of a relative of Juguni Sah at village Semaria. A farmer was threshing at some distance from the marriage venue. Juguni Sah and others asked the farmer to stop the threshing but he refused that led to clash and some people from farmer side started beating Juguni Sah with lathi. Four persons were injured in the clash. All the injured were admitted to the PHC at Mani Chhapara but the doctor referred Juguni Sah to the PMCH . The SHO said that the body was brought over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on April 21.
